The
Salvation Prayer
Praying this prayer does not save you.  It is Jesus' death on the cross that does that by paying for the sins that have separated you from God.  There is no "magic" in this prayer.  The only way that this prayer has any power at all is if you mean it sincerely when you pray it and you really try to live your life the way God and Jesus would want you to.  You can learn to do this by reading The Holy Bible.  Start by reading the book of John in the New Testament.

So, if you truly do want to be saved, and you can sincerely mean every word as you pray this prayer, then go ahead and pray it to God right now to
become one of God's very own children and to restore the relationship with Him that you were always intended to have.  Then, get a copy of The Holy Bible and start reading the New Testament to learn more about the wonderful, new relationship you now have with your Creator.

If you would like to have your own copy of the Holy Bible, you can download one here.

Dear God,

I am a sinner and I know that my sins have separated us and ruined my relationship with you.

I am sorry for all of the things I have done wrong and all of the times I have sinned.  Please forgive me.

I accept that the death on the cross of your Son, Jesus Christ, paid for my sins.

I promise I will try to live for you from now on.

Please take over my life and help me to live the way you want me to, and help me to tell others about you.

I look forward to spending forever with you in heaven some day.

Amen
